Commissioned by Heembouw, RED completed the entire rough construction of the President's 157 apartments. This was done using a unique tunnel formwork system with a maximum width of no less than 11m, developed in co-makership with Hendriks stalen bekistingtechniek B.V. This allowed us to achieve an unprecedented large bay width of 10,2m while working fast, flexible and safe thanks to tunnel formwork technology. Approximately 170 m² of floor slab was poured daily. It took us two days to complete a floor with six apartments, including self-supporting balcony slabs.
